Home Insurance

Make sure that your home is covered in the event of an unpredictable loss.

A standard policy insures the home itself and your personal property. Homeowners insurance is a package policy. It covers your property and you or a member of your family's legal liabilty to others' property and injuries.

What it generally covers:

  •  The structure of your home

  •  Replacement costs

  •  Personal possessions (up to a set limit)

  • Living expenses in case of a disaster

  • Liability

You can also add supplemental policies such as:

  •  Valuable Articles/Floater policies (i.e. Jewelry Insurance)

  •  Flood policies

  •  Umbrella policies (additional liability)

*Some of the products we offer:

Homeowners-A form of property insurance designed to protect an individual's home against damages to the house itself, or to possessions in the home. Homeowners insurance also provides liability coverage against accidents in the home or on the property.

Renters- A form of property insurance that provides coverage for a policy holder's belongings and liability within a rental property.

Condominium-HO-6 condominium insurance that covers the interior walls, fixtures, and personal property inside a condominium. It is distinct from the master policy held by a condo homeowners association, which covers common areas — such as the roof, hallways, and elevator — that are jointly owned by condo owners.

Vacant Dwelling-A form of insurance  that covers a vacant home. A home is "vacant," as defined by the courts, if it does not contain enough furniture for a resident to reasonably live there. So, according to that definition, a home could be considered vacant unless it has kitchen appliances, table and chairs, at least one bed to sleep on, and somewhere to sit (i.e., a couple of living room chairs). If there were no bed or no appliances or no furniture, chances are the homeowners insurer could try to apply vacancy exclusions to the loss.

Mobile Home-Provides coverage for your mobile home, contents and liability for a mobile home that is owner occupied.

Rentals-A form of property insurance that provides coverage for a policy holder's belongings and liability within a rental property.
